Today Apple released a bunch of really cool new stuff. The iPod line got the biggest treatment in features and changes and they are welcome.

I of course was hoping for the Apple TV to do what my Roku currently does and Steve did announce a new device, but it’s still far behind the current Roku offering.

I wish Steve would’ve announced that iOS is now running not just the iPod/Phone/Pad but also the Apple TV. That way people could build apps for the Apple TV which would be AMAZING, thanks to alexalbrecht, I am saying AMAZING now all the time, did you notice?

Anyway, Roku’s offering, ongoing expansion of channels and the option of adding private channels is perfect. And Steve’s comment on people just wanting HD content done by pros is not correct. I am happy with Diggnation on my Revision3 channel and I don’t mind the ads…
