From Google in 2006: “Today the Internet is an information highway where anybody – no matter how large or small, how traditional or unconventional – has equal access. Techcrunch is asking the obvious question on why people want the Kindle to be an iPad.

Well, I can answer that: We don’t want to pay for so many different electronic devices. That’s easy. Sure, there might be an over-expectation on the consumer side of things. But really, do we need to carry around our iPad, iPhone, iPod, Camera and Kindle… what am I missing?

We DO want one thing to do it all.
